Eagers Automotive NZ Easter Hunt Vehicle Sale
Eagers AutomotiveNZ kicked off the ‘Eagers Automotive Easter Hunt Vehicle Sale’ on Friday 5th April. The three-day event ran across all 9 Auckland dealerships with ‘eggciting’ specials across new, used and demo vehicles. The atmosphere and energy across the dealers over the weekend was contagious and drove strong sales of 272 vehicles.
Each dealership did something a little different to bring the sale to life:
Auckland Motors Mitsubishi and Manukau Hyundai:
There was a different vibe to Manukau Hyundai and Auckland Motors Mitsubishi this weekend at the Eagers Automotive Easter Hunt Vehicle Sale. The showroom was full of fun, laughter and sales personnel dressed as Easter bunnies.
The showroom looked completely different from an average weekend - the floor was decked out with balloons and sale themed point of sale. To entertain kids, we had an Easter egg hunt with chocolate hidden in vehicle cup holders, dashboards and on top of windscreen wipers. We even set up a colouring in area which proved to be very popular for both the kids and their parents.
Mr Whippy was on site during the weekend, giving away free ice cream to every customer who walked through the doors. Customers who purchased a vehicle over the sale weekend were given the chance to spin to win a wide range of prizes, including Prezzy Cards, SkyCity Vouchers, Vehicle Credit, PlayStation’s and Xboxes. Every customer left with a prize and it was great to see the excitement that this generated.
Auckland Motors Mitsubishi team incentivised their customers by giving away a $300 Prezzy Gift Card with every vehicle sold.
West Auckland Nissan:
With the arrival of the Eagers Automotive Easter Sale weekend, the team at West Auckland Nissan were fired up and ready for the sale to begin. From the decorations, to the tempting Easter eggs, a yummy breakfast and the most competitive game of dealership Pictionary. The whole team was on a high and excited to get things pumping and let customers know something great was happening this weekend!
The excitement and energy from the sales team was nice to see throughout the whole week, the laughter and fun everyone shared was obvious to customers and buyers on the yard over the weekend. This was evident from the conversations we had, along with awesome deals from the sale this weekend. The sales incentives were GREAT. Our spinning wheel had prizes with vehicle purchases including accessories vouchers, vehicle discounts & more. Not to mention also being put into the draw to WIN $10,000 cashback on their purchase.
There was every reason to buy this weekend from West Auckland Nissan.
John Andrew Ford:
The Easter Hunt Vehicle Sale started off at John Andrew Ford with the ‘Let Us Entertain You’ launch event on Thursday night, incorporating live music from our Sales Executive David Fransen and a Hypnotist show to remember. Plenty of laughs later, everyone concluded they were thoroughly entertained. This helped galvanise the team from the start of the sale and they all worked hard to secure a good result.
With live music on the yard, mini remote-controlled Rangers doing dealership test drives and plenty of smiles, plus lots of bacon and sausages from the BBQ helped deliver an atmosphere that wowed customers, convincing 42 of them that this is the dealership that they should purchase from. A good result all-round as the best performing dealership in the Easter Hunt Vehicle Sale and an opportunity to Drive Greatness at the next sale event!
John Andrew Mazda:
A great weekend started with the sale launch and friendly inter-team competition which got spirits and competitive nature riled up in the team for the sale event. There was an abundance of bunting, balloons and sweet treats with fresh Hot Cross Buns daily, chocolate eggs and plenty for kids to do in the play area.
The Easter themed Mazda T-shirts caught the attention of a lot of the visitors to the dealership over the weekend, getting a number of positive comments. Customers were challenged and excited by the shoot-to-win challenge after purchasing a vehicle which helped to promote the relationship with one of our sponsorship partner There’s A Better Way and provide some customer delight when they got vouchers for their efforts.
Notably, a 92 year-old repeat customer channelled his inner Steph Curry to land two out of his three shots! This all combined to get a good result over the weekend for the John Andrew Mazda team with a lot of fun along the way for staff and customers!
North Harbour Ford and North Harbour Mazda:
North Harbour Ford and North Harbour Mazda started the sale weekend over at our premium used yard with dealer principals Steve Fraser and Sean Parrey taking the team through the launch presentation. We had an Alice and Wonderland theme on the used yard, Easter theme in the Mazda yard and Game of Thrones in the Ford building. We provided food and beverages across the sale weekend for customers and staff.
All the decorations through the dealership were colourful which helped brighten up the mood with the bad weather on Saturday and we had the Easter bunny to entertain the staff and customers! Easter eggs were scattered around all 3 yards for the kids to enjoy.
We had our ups and down with the rainy weather and wind, but that didn't stop the staff from having fun and getting all the customers involved in the festivities.
The chance to win $10,000 and giving away $500 Prezzy card with every purchased worked very well with closing customers that were considering coming back the following weekend.
Davie Motors Holden & HSV and Manukau Nissan:
The teams at Manukau Nissan and Davie Motors Holden & HSV have completed another amazing Eagers Automotive sale with some outstanding results!
Manukau Nissan launched Thursday night, with a bento box for dinner and an evening at the Escape Room! The dealership was split into 3 teams who raced against the clock to get out of the room the fastest; this set the competitive spirit for the weekend! Friday began with a presentation and a powerful team talk ensuring that everyone was in high spirits to begin the weekend. The dealership really looked like something different was going on with balloons, point of sale, a pop-corn machine, air dancers, sale flags and an added Easter touch! To finish day one, F&I smashed it by achieving $8,000 in aftercare! Saturday felt a bit like Heathrow Airport - people everywhere! The team were in great spirits bouncing off the busy atmosphere and Sunday was a great finish to the weekend with 16 units sold!
Davie Motors Holden launched Friday morning with an American styled breakfast at Denny’s! This was followed by a powerful team talk motivating the team for the weekend to come. Day one kicked off the weekend with the dealership looking spectacular with an awesome balloon display, point of sale, air dancers, sale flags throughout the dealership. Day 2 brought the rain, and a much slower day. However- the team stayed in positive spirits!
Day 3 ended strong with the most units sold for the weekend. Over all, a slower sale weekend for Davies- however a strong team morale!
The conclusion of the weekend has seen both Manukau Nissan & Davie Motors Holden demonstrate great teamwork! No matter the result- at Davies, everyone worked as a team and stayed in positive spirits. Manukau Nissan’s new and F&I departments absolutely smashed it! Showing what hard work can achieve.
