We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer focused Service Advisor to join North Harbour Ford based in Glenfield.

North Harbour Ford’s Service Department is the largest Ford dedicated workshop in New Zealand and a flagship store for the brand. No two days are the same in this fast paced, customer focused environment.

As the first Service Department in New Zealand to be accredited in the Ford Guest Experience program, we expect a high attention to detail and guest focused mindset.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for booking, greeting and managing daily customer relations for the dealership's service department.

This includes:

  • Answering customer enquiries regarding their vehicles' service
  • Seeking approval for additional service work found during vehicle inspections
  • Ensuring all customer requirements are met in a timely manner
  • Build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders for long term business success
  • Deliver quality customer service, focusing on win-win outcomes

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience in a Service Advisor role is preferable but not essential
  • General understanding of a vehicle's components and functionality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Keenness to learn and grow with the Ford and Mazda brand
  • Exceptional organisational & time management skills
  • Good work ethic and a high level of integrity
  • Desire to deliver exceptional customer service

The Service Advisor role is strongly customer service focused, as well as having elements of sales, and automotive knowledge.  A background in these fields would be highly advantageous, but not essential.  We are looking for a passionate person with exceptional customer service skills.  We are willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
