Auckland Dealers Fuel New Food Festival
New Zealand AHG Dealerships John Andrew Ford and John Andrew Mazda have joined forces to sponsor Eat Drink Love Ponsonby, a month-long food festival on the dealerships’ doorstep.
Starting Monday July 15, Eat Drink Love Ponsonby is a month-long restaurant festival of signature menus and special events taking place in over fifty of the Auckland suburb's local restaurants and bars.
Two special Eat Drink Love Ponsonby sign-written vehicles (the recently launched Ford Focus and all-new Mazda 3) will also be driving around the community across the next month to engage Ponsonby visitors and transport visiting chefs and VIPs across many of the festival's planned exotic tastings, progressive dinners and pop-up events.
John Andrew Mazda dealer principal Paul Ah Kuoi commented, "we're proud to support Eat Drink Love Ponsonby as we have been an part of this fantastic community for many years. We're excited to share our love of not only our neighbourhood, but our stunning range of vehicles to all visitors to the festival across the next month".
The festival was launched in the John Andrew Ford Showroom to a room full of Ponsonby VIPs including restaurant owners and community residents as well as influencers, hospitality industry suppliers and media.
The event team transformed the Ford showroom in to a glitzy venue in a matter of hours with a guest commenting they hadn't seen a showroom look like this before.
Guests enjoyed a night of music, refreshments and special canapes supplied by two of Ponsonby’s top restaurants as a sample of what’s to come for the festival.
Representatives from both dealerships attended the event to welcome and host guests. The dealership showcased three of the Ford range integrated with displays including other sponsors products. Instagram was full of great images from the evening; namely the fantastic food on offer and quite a few of signed, special edition Scott McLaughlin Mustang Venom.
Both dealerships will be celebrating the festival by promoting exclusive offers through the month of July to their customers in line with the events.
