Eagers Automotive NZ Update – COVID-19 Level 4 Alert
Following the Government’s announcement on Monday 23rd March, Eagers Automotive NZ, like many other NZ businesses, will be in lockdown from 11.59pm Wednesday 25th March for four weeks.
While our physical sales, service and parts operations are closed, our teams wherever possible, are working from home and remain available to each other, our customers and our partners remotely via mobile, email and various video conferencing capabilities.
While we, with the rest of the nation self-isolate, we remain capable of taking sales orders and facilitating most sales administrative functions of our normal day-to-day business operation. Service and parts operations as well as any physical interactions such as test drives and deliveries will resume following the lift of the lockdown, as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.
Eagers Automotive NZ is part of AP Eagers, Australasia’s largest automotive retailer. We’re proud to employ 500 great New Zealanders across our business and blessed to work with seven leading vehicle brands in NZ; Ford, Mazda, Holden, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Hyundai and HSV.
Over the lock down period it will be necessary for us all to do things a little differently and we must remain open to flexible ways of achieving our goals. If we work together over the next four weeks we will be able to maintain a level of business that allows us not only to navigate through this crisis, but prosper when the COVID-19 pandemic does, inevitably, pass.
We appreciate we are experiencing an unprecedented and rapidly developing global situation unlike anything we have seen in our lifetime before. We will continue to monitor information regarding COVID-19 closely, following all guidance given by the Government to ensure the ongoing health and wellbeing of our staff, local and business communities.
Rest assured, as soon as we are authorized to re-open, our teams will mobilise and do everything in our power to be available at full strength and available to assist with all enquiries and requirements.
Meanwhile, and throughout this crisis, we continue to ensure we are focussed on remaining agile in the face of evolving circumstances, responsive to the issues as they present and resilient in the face of unprecedented adversity. Importantly, we also remain absolutely committed to supporting our staff, customers and partners throughout these difficult times in every possible way.
